We love dogs as much as you do

We breed our Labrador Retrievers to meet the AKC breed standard and to preserve the wonderful temperament and disposition the breed is known for. Our Labrabors have a natural desire to do field work and to perform their tasks as field dogs. We have owned Labradors since 1980 and have been involved in breeding for quality and working ability for more than 25 years.

We only breed dogs that have passed orthopedic and eye testing, as well as genetic testing for CNN and EIC. Each dog at Rocking "M" Labradors has been OFA‑certified for hips and elbows, and we breed only dogs with hip ratings of “Good” or “Excellent.” We also certify our dogs’ eyes (CERF) annually, and all of our puppies are sold with a Hip & Elbow Health Contract.

We raise—and strive to produce—quality, proven bitches and stud dogs from both field and conformation lines, as well as prospects for field trials and hunt tests. Our dogs are carefully selected for temperament, conformation, and intelligence.

Our family is very active in AKC Hunt Test events and participates in local breed and retriever clubs in the Washington area. We assist in the rescue and rehoming of Labradors and adhere to ethical breeding standards. We are active members of the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association and the Oregon Hunting Retriever Club.
