We breed our Labrador Retrievers to meet the AKC breed standard as well as to maintain the wonderful breed temperament and disposition. Our Labs have a natural desire to do field work and perform their tasks as field dogs. We have owned Labradors since 1980 and have been involved in breeding for quality and working ability for over twenty-five years. We only breed dogs that have passed orthopedic and eye testing as well as CNN and EIC. Each Labrador at Rocking ” M” Retrievers has been OFA certified for hips / elbows and we only breed dogs with hip ratings of “Good” and “Excellent.” We do certify our dog’s eyes (CERF) annually and all our puppies are sold with a Hip & Elbow health contract. We raise and strive to produce only quality proven Bitches and Stud dogs of both Field lines and Conformation lines, as well as Field Trial /Hunt test prospects. They are carefully selected for temperament, conformation and intelligence. Our family is very active in AKC Hunt Test events and active in the local Breed and Retriever clubs in the Washington area. We assist in the rescue and re-homing of Labs and subscribe to ethical breeding standards. We are active members of the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association and Oregon Hunting Retriever Club.
